2021 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Appeared in 35 games while starting 27… Went 28-for-93 at the plate for a .301 batting average… Made her first career start and recorded her first career hit against Grand Canyon (2/26)… Hit .358 (19-for-53) in Conference play… Tied for second on the team with 25 RBI… Slammed seven doubles, two triples and three home runs for a .516 slugging percentage… Totaled 48 bases and had an on base percentage of .356… Was 1-1 on stolen bases… Recorded six multi-RBI games… Tallied a season-best four RBI off a grand slam against Idaho State (4/17)… Had seven multi-hit games… Went 3-for-5 against Northern Colorado (4/3) and at Southern Utah (4/9)… Recorded 30 putouts and tallied one assist behind the plate… Recorded zero errors for a fielding percentage of 1.000… Named to the Big Sky Tournament All-Tournament Team… Earned Honorable Mention All-Big Sky honors as a utility player.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Competing at W.F. West High School, Lopez is no stranger to winning, assisting her team to a WIAA 2A State championship in 2017, two District championships in 2017 and 2018, and three Evergreen Conference championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She was named First-Team All-League and All-Area Team all three years while earning All-State Catcher in 2019. Academically, Lopez earned Honor Roll 2017-19 and Evergreen Conference All-Academic in 2017 and 2018.
