2025-26 • JUNIOR SEASON
Started every game until missing the Big Sky Tournament with injury... averaged 10.9 points, 6.9 rebounds... seven double-doubles to rank second in the Big Sky... fourth in the Big Sky in rebounding... had 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-3 FT) and 12 rebounds in a win over Northwest Indian (11/7)... scored 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-3 FT) with 10 rebounds in a win over Evergreen State (11/19)... went for 22 points (8-17 FG, 6-8 FT) and 11 rebounds in a win at South Dakota (12/3)... scored 22 points (9-12 FG, 2-3 3-pt, 2-3 FT) and eight rebounds at Tulane (12/20)... another double-double with 12 points, 13 rebounds in a win at Weber State (1/1)... went for 20 points and eight rebounds in a win over Northern Arizona (1/17)... had 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and two steals in a win at Eastern Washington (1/22)... posted a career-high 24 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3-pt, 3-4 FT) with career-highs of four assists and five steals, and six rebounds and a block in a win over Montana State (1/31)... went for 14 points (5-13 FG, 4-5 FT), a career-high 16 rebounds, two steals and a game-saving blocked shot with one second left in a win at Sacramento State (2/7)... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 10 for that performance... tied his career-highs of 24 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3-pt, 5-8 FT) and five steals to go with six rebounds in a win over Idaho (2/19)... had a double-double at Montana (2/28) with 16 points (5-13 FG, 6-9 FT) and 10 rebounds.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Played two seasons at the University of San Diego… averaged 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.7 minutes per game as a freshman in 2023-24… best game was a 16-point performance against Santa Clara in the WCC Tournament… last season was averaging 5.2 points and 3.1 rebounds but an injury ended his season after six games… played against the Vikings in November, posting a 20-point, five-rebound game.
Originally from Los Angeles, Kensie attended Taft High School where he was a City Section and West Valley League Most Valuable Player as a senior. He led his team win the 2023 City Section Open Division Championship game and was named the Open-Division Most Valuable Player… first team All-League as a junior and a senior… a member of the honor roll.

Son of Keyon Kensie and Nahima Barnes... has a brother, Cameron Denson, who played at Long Beach State and Pacific… Communications major.
