2018-19 ACADEMIC ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE

2018-19 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Started 10 games... averaged 3.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and shot a team-best .542... made 13 of last 17 shots (.765)... grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds against Northwest Nazarene (11/24)... scored a season-high 10 points (5-7 FG) in the win over UC Riverside (11/10)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference.

2017-18 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in eight of the first nine games before a hip injury knocked him out for the season, should be able to get a redshirt year and still be sophomore eligibility... averaged 4.8 points, 2.3 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game... shot .583 from the field and .833 at the line... scored 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 FT) with seven rebounds against Willamette (11/14)... had 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and two blocked shots against Portland Bible (12/2).

2016-17 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 16 games with two starts, averaging just about five minutes per game... averaged 2.4 points, 1.0 rebounds... made 13-20 shots on the season (.650) and 12-13 at the free throw line (.923)... scored a season-high nine points with seven rebounds against Walla Walla (12/22)... had four points each in against Sacramento State (1/7) and Montana State (2/16)... had eight points (2-3 FG, 4-4 FT) against North Dakota (3/9)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in basketball and tennis four times each at University High School... named second team All-State, Section Player of the Year and first team All-Southern Arizona as a senior... averaged 24.4 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game while shooting 52% from the field and 75% at the line... as a junior, he averaged 17.8 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocks... reached state quarterfinals in doubles in tennis... selected as Student-Athlete of the Year at University HS as a junior and a senior.

Son of Tiffany and Scott Rumel... has one brother, Rian, and three sisters, Andrea, Kyla and Lauren... plans to major in History and is interested in Law School.
