Named the PCSC Championship Series Most Outstanding Player after reaching base in every plate appearance (2-for-2 and two walks) while scoring twice, driving in two runs and hitting her second home run of the season … Earned PCSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors … Played in 47 of the team’s 53 games as a true freshman … Made 36 starts … Finished the season hitting .243 (27-for-111) … Finished the season with 11 R, 11 RBI, four doubles, a triple and two home runs … Recorded six multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games … Had a four-game hitting streak towards the end of the season hitting safely in the first two games of the PCSC Championship Series and the first two games of the NCAA Tournament … Walked twice and drove in the game-winning run at Saint Mary’s (5/12) to win the PCSC Championship Series … Scored two runs with a solo home run at Saint Mary’s (5/11) … Recorded career-best three hits against Utah State (3/17) … Drove in a career-high four runners against Long Beach State (2/19) … Went 2-for-3 with a runs scored and a RBI against Utah (2/18) including first career home run … Went 2-for-3 while driving in first RBI against BYU (2/16) … First multi-hit game came against Stanford (2/11) going 2-for-3 with a double … Recorded first hit against Cal Poly (2/10) … Made Portland State debut against San Diego State (2/10).

Midwestern League Player of the Year as a junior and senior ... Hit .564 with 36 runs scored, 15 doubles, 10 home runs, 62 RBIs and a 1.094 slugging percentage as a senior to earn first team all-state honors from The Oregonian ... Ffirst team all-league and honorable mention all-state as a sophomore ... Hit .459 as a junior and .522 as a sophomore ... Helped the Colts to back-to-back league titles in ‘10 and ‘11 ... Thurston reached the round of 16 in the 2011 class 6A state tournament ... The Colts also made the class 5A state playoffs in ‘08, ‘09 and ‘10 ... Named the KMTR Prep Athlete of the Week on April 29, 2011, after batting 8-for-10 with three doubles, three HRs and 12 RBIs ... Participated in the State-Metro All-Star series as a senior and helped the State team to a 10-9 come-from-behind victory in game two by driving in the tying run with a single ... Played in the series with fellow Viking NLI signee Aubrey Nitschelm ... Played ASA ball for the NW Bullets Gold from 2009-2011 and was coached by Toni Campos, the father of ex-Viking Brandi Campos ... Helped the Bullets to fifth place at the 18U Gold Nationals in ‘09 ...
