Biography

2019 (AS A JUNIOR)
  • Morrison played in 42 games and started 39 of them.
  • She hit .214 with five doubles, five home runs and 21 RBIs. She had a slugging percentage of .393 and an on-base percentage of .296.
  • In Big Sky games, Morrison hit .333 with fours runs scored and eight RBIs.
  • Drove in four and hit first home run of the season, going 2-for-5 in a win over Maryland (2/22).
  • Drove in a run with a squeeze bunt in a win over Pacific (2/15).
  • Drove in two runs and scored a run without getting a hit in the season opener against UC Riverside (2/8).  
  • Went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk against Idaho State (3/23).
  • Currently on a four-game hitting streak, the previous three of which were all multi-hit games.
  • Hit two home runs in a win against Santa Clara (4/6), going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
  • Recorded at least one hit in all three games against Sacramento State (4/26-27), including a 2-for-4 performance with three RBIs. She scored two runs and hit a home run in the game.
  • Hit safely in all three games at the Big Sky Championship.
  • Went 1-for-3 with two walks against Sacramento State (5/8).
  • Went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against Montana (5/9).

2018 (AS A SOPHOMORE)
  • Played in 42 games, making 37 starts, as a sophomore. 
  • Hit .234 with a .317 on base percentage and a .290 slugging mark. 
  • Recorded 25 hits, 13 runs scored, 13 RBIs, a double, a triple, and one home run. Walked 11 times and was hit twice. 
  • Tallied five multi-hit and four multi-RBI games. 
  • Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and first career triple at Montana (4/21). 
  • Went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in a win at Northern Colorado (4/14). 
  • Went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs against North Dakota (3/24).
  • Drove in two with first home run of the season against Bryant (3/17). 
  • Drove in a run, going 1-for-3, against No. 1 Washington (3/4). 
  • Singled and scored a run against No. 9 Florida State (2/10).

2017 (AS A FRESHMAN)
  • Played in 33 games, making 25 starts, as a true freshman. Hit .279, going 16-for-68 at the plate with eight runs scored and 16 runs batted in. Tallied six doubles and one home run. 
  • Went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, three RBIs, and a double against Southern Utah (4/8). 
  • Hit first career home run going 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double, and a career-high four RBIs in a win at Idaho State (3/25). 
  • Went 2-for-3 with a run scored, 2 RBIs, and a double at UNLV (3/11). 
  • Drove in first career run against East Carolina (3/3). 
  • Recorded first career hit against Nevada (2/26). 
  • Made first career plate appearance against Murray State (2/10).   

PRIOR TO PORTLAND STATE
  • Played varsity softball all four years at Pendleton High School.
  • MaxPreps Medium Schools All-American First Team as a senior.
  • State Softball Player of the Year finalist.
  • Hit .512 with 50 runs scored and 33 runs driven in. Hit 12 doubles and 10 home runs. Had an on-base percentage of .618 and a slugging percentage of 1.069 with 23 stolen bases as a senior.
  • Three-Time Oregon 5A First Team selection (sophomore, junior, senior).
  • Three-Time All-Columbia River Conference First Team selection (sophomore, junior, senior).
  • All-CRC Third Team selection as a freshman.
  • Team won Oregon 5A State Championship in 2014.
  • Team won three-straight CRC Championships (2014-16).
  • Played for USA Explosion (2014-16).

PERSONAL
  • Majoring in Health Sciences.
  • Daughter of Phil Morrison and Tina Zeckman.
  • Has one brother, William Morrison.
  • Enjoys traveling and reading.
  • Is a member of the National Honors Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, and Pendleton High School Leadership.
  • Aspires to be an anesthesiologist.
