Portland State Men's Basketball has signed Gantas Križanaukas for the 2026-27 season as announced by Head Coach Jase Coburn.
 
Križanauskas will come to PSU from Vilnius, Lithuania. A 6-4 guard, he has played for the Rytas Vilnius Club and is a member of the U20 Lithuania Men's National Team.
 
"We are thrilled to have Gantas join our program," said Coburn. "He has some high-quality characteristics that we look for in our players. We love his competitive spirit, his fire and his love of the game of basketball. His defensive and athletic abilities will let him fit right in with our style. Offensively, he is very skilled. He can dribble, pass, shoot and make plays for others."
 
Rytas Vilnius, also known as Basketball Club Rytas, competes in the Lithuanian Basketball League, the top tier of basketball in Lithuania. Križanauskas began with Rytas-MRU, the third-tier league in Lithuania in 2022-23, then moved to BC Rytas-2 Vilnius, the second-tier league. He first played for Rytas Vilnius in 2023-24. This past season, in 32 games with BC Rytas-2, Križanauskas averaged 10.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 26.6 minutes per game. He played in seven games with Rytas Vilnius.

Križanauskas played for the Lithuania men's national under-18 team in the 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket. He averaged 10 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He also played for the Lithuania men's national under-20 basketball team in the 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket. Krizanauskas averaged 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists per game as the team won the silver medal.

Križanauskas joins a Portland State program that won the Big Sky Conference regular season championship in 2025-26 (20-11/13-5) and is led by Big Sky Coach of the Year Jase Coburn.
