Notizie Eccezionali!: Vikings Sign Francesco Corato For 2026-27 Season

Portland State Men's Basketball has signed Francesco Corato for the 2026-27 season as announced by Head Coach Jase Coburn.

Corato is a 19-year old forward from Venice, Italy. The 6-8 Venetian has played for Umana Reyer Venice, a professional club in Italy. He most recently competed for Reyer Venezia at the Next Gen Cup where he averaged 11.8 pts and 4.1 rebounds per game.

"We are really excited to add Francesco to our team," said Coburn. "The first thing that jumps out is how talented of a player he is. Francesco is not only skilled but a great athlete with toughness that will fit with our style. He has played against great competition throughout his career so we are looking forward to him competing in the U.S. with us."

Corato is the sixth player to sign with Portland State and he joins a program that won the Big Sky Conference regular season championship in 2025-26 (20-11/13-5) and is led by Big Sky Coach of the Year Jase Coburn.
