Portland State Men's Basketball Coach
Jase Coburn has announced the signing of Antonio Pusateri to the Vikings program for the 2026-27 season.
Pusateri is a 6-7 forward who played this past season at Lubbock Christian. He averaged 16.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game while shooting .593 from the field. Pusateri started all 33 games for the Chaps, adding 1.9 assists and 37 blocked shots. His 21 double-doubles were the second-most in the nation at the NCAA II level.
"Antonio is an outstanding person. His discipline and winning character will definitely add to the culture that we have," Coburn said. "Antonio is an exciting player with a high motor, high energy, and high activity on the court. He is an elite defender and rebounder and has a great ability to score. Portland State fans will be excited to watch him."
Pusateri was named first team All-Lone Star Conference, Lone Star Newcomer of the Year, and NABC second team All-District. He was named Lone Star Defensive Player of the Week three times and Offensive Player of the Week once.
A native of San Francisco, Pusateri played two seasons at City College of San Francisco. He attended Riordan High School.
Pusateri is the fifth player to sign with Portland State and he joins a program that won the Big Sky Conference regular season championship in 2025-26 (20-11/13-5) and is led by Big Sky Coach of the Year
