Dominick Mazotti Named Tight Ends Coach At Portland State

Dominick Mazotti has been named Tight Ends Coach for the Portland State Football program as announced by Head Coach Chris Fisk.
 
"Dominick has tremendous experience as a player at the tight end position," Fisk said. "He has a great relationship with our coaching staff and I will be excited to see what he does with this tight end group."
 
Mazotti spent the 2025 season as an Offensive Analyst at Mercyhurst, an FCS program in the Northeastern Conference. Prior to that, Mazotti played four seasons of football at San Jose State and one season at UMass (2024). He was an honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference selection and Academic All-Conference honoree at SJSU while playing for new Vikings Offensive Line Coach Alex Kastens. During his career, he caught 75 passes for 930 yards and six touchdowns.
 
Mazotti is originally from Pleasanton, CA. He earned an undergraduate degree from San Jose State with a Masters degree from University of Massachusetts.
