Viking Basketball Signs Big Man Kean Webb For 2025-26 Season

Portland State Men's Basketball Coach Jase Coburn has announced the signing of Kean Webb for the 2025-26 season. Webb is the third student-athlete added to the Viking program for next season.

Webb is a 6-11, 230-pound center who will be a sophomore in the coming year.

"We are really excited with the addition of Kean Webb," said Coburn. "He brings a lot of things that we value in our players. He has a tremendous amount of energy, passion and spirit. I think his size and mobility will really impact games for us. We know that he can continue to develop as a player here, as our big guys have done in the past."

Webb spent his freshman year at the University of San Diego. He played in 25 games, starting 10, and averaged 14.7 minutes per game. Webb averaged 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, shot .563 from the field and .765 at the free throw line.

Originally from St. George, UT, Webb attended American Fork High School. He spent a fifth year at Golden State Prep in Napa, CA. Webb averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists in his single season with Golden State Prep, earning All-State and All-Region honors.

Webb is the third signee for the Vikings. He joins a roster with seven returning players, two of which were starters.
