Isaac Brice Signs With Vikings Men's Basketball

Portland State Men's Basketball Coach Jase Coburn has announced the signing of Isaac Brice to a grant-in-aid agreement for the 2024-24 season.

Brice is a 6-6 forward who played last season at Iona University. Prior to that, Brice played his freshman year at Southwest Mississippi Community College.

"Isaac really fits us and how we play," said Coburn. "He is an electric athlete who has the ability to change games with his motor and athletic ability. We are confident that he will continue to develop with us. Getting to know him, he is an outstanding person."

Last year at Iona, Brice played in 23 games with one start. He averaged 6.3 minutes and scored 21 points with 21 rebounds. As a freshman at SW Mississippi CC, Brice started 27 games. He averaged 7.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots in 24 minutes per game.

Brice prepped at Picayune High School in Picayune, MS where he was district MVP. He is the son of a former PSU assistant football coach, Alundis Brice (2007-08).

Brice is the fourth student-athlete to sign with the Vikings for 2024-25. Portland State returns five letterwinners and one redshirt from this past season when the Vikings were 17-15 overall.
