SEATTLE, Wash. — Two weeks out of the Big Sky Indoor Championships, Portland State sophomore Chase Lovercheck continued to fine tune his racing form at the Husky Classic Saturday.
 
Lovercheck ran the 800 meters in 1:55.47 at Dempsey Indoor Saturday, splitting his two previous 800-meter times this season. Lovercheck opened his season with a time of 1:56.64 at the Vandal Open on Jan. 11, and ran the 800 in 1:54.80 at the UW Invitational on Feb. 1.
 
Lovercheck will race again at the Portland Indoor Three next week, before heading to the Big Sky meet in Pocatello, Idaho, the following week.
