RENO, Nev. — The Portland State women's tennis match lost 5-0 to Nevada Friday at the McArthur Tennis Center.

The Wolf Pack (9-8) swept the Vikings in doubles and the clinched the dual with four quick wins in singles. Nevada's Blaga Delic clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-3 win for the Wolf Pack at line three, and Nevada tacked on another point as Lili Fekete won 6-2, 6-2 soon after at line four.

The matches at lines one and two went unfinished with the Vikings'
Siena Peri and
Eszter Zador in the middle of a pair of tight matches. Peri and Zador each lost the first set of their matches, but remained tied for even ahead in the second set when the Wolf Pack clinched the match. Zador led her opponent – Nevada's Adriana Gergelyova – 4-2 in the second set at line two, while Peri was tied at 3-3 in the second set against Nevada's Claudia Herrero at line one.

The Vikings will conclude their Big Sky schedule Sunday, when they travel to face Sacramento State in Sacramento at 10 a.m. (PT). The Vikings beat the Hornets for the first time ever in their last match against them, as they beat them 4-3 on Senior Day at the end of the 2017 season.
