Sidney Rielly scored a game-high 20 points but the Vikings fell to the Nevada Wolf Pack, 67-55, Sunday afternoon in Reno, Nev.

Nevada (1-1 overall) led by two points going into the second quarter before the Wild Pack outscored Portland State (0-2) 24-17 in the second to lead 43-34 heading into the half. The Vikings were never able to cut into the lead, falling by the 12-point margin.

Rielly scored a game-high 20 points for her 12th career 20-point game. She went 9-for-21 from the floor with a pair of three-pointers. She is averaging 19.5 points per game, while shooting .433 from the floor over the Vikings' first two games of the year.

Freshman
Kylie Jimenez put together another solid performance for the Vikings. She scored 15, going 6-for-13 from the floor and 3-for-5 from three-point range. She also added a game-high five assists against the Wolf Pack. She is shooting .500 from three-point range and has hit three three-pointers in each game so far. Â

Courtney West scored just two points in the game but pulled down a game-high nine rebounds. She also tallied a pair of blocks, bringing her career total to 99, which puts her fourth all-time at Portland State and 19 blocks shy of tying the PSU career record of 118 held by Kelli Chandler-Read (1994-97).

Portland State went on a 6-0 run to take a 17-14 lead with 1:11 left in the opening quarter. Nevada closed out the quarter on a 5-0 run of its own to take a 19-17 lead into the second.

Nevada outscored the Vikings 24-17 in the second to create some separation and lead 43-34 going to the half. The Wolf Pack's bench outscored the Vikings' bench 13-3 in the quarter, which was a problem for Portland State throughout the game. Nevada outscored Portland State 34-10 in bench scoring for the game.

Portland State could not take advantage of poor shooting by Nevada in the third quarter as each team scored just nine points in the period. Nevada went up by as much as 15 points in the fourth quarter before taking the game 67-55.

Nevada shot .423 from the floor in the game, while Portland State shot just .362. The Vikings are 0-10 when shooting under .400 from the floor dating back to last season.

Portland State hits the road again next week. The Vikings is at UC Davis on Friday, Nov. 17 before heading to San Jose, Calif. to take on San Jose State on Sunday Nov. 19.Â
