Â
The game was in the top of the fifth when the rains came, which made the field unplayable forcing the postponement. The Vikings and Bengals resumed the game Saturday morning with no outs and nobody on in the top of the fifth.
Â
Idaho State plated six runs in the top of the innings off Crawford after the Bengals' first five batters singled. When the Vikings were able to get the final out of the inning, the damage was done and the Bengals led 11-0.
Â
Kramer hit a solo home run with two outs in the bottom of the fifth to score Portland State's first run but that would be all that they would get, falling 11-1 in five innings.
Â
Burk picked up the loss, falling to 3-4 on the season. She allowed three unearned runs on two hits, while walking five and striking out one.
