New Portland State Director of Athletics Mark Rountree was introduced today to the campus community, student-athletes, boosters and the media in a press conference at the Stott Center.

Though Rountree does not officially begin work at Portland State until Jan. 20, he and his wife Jennie were in Portland over the weekend to get acquainted with Portland State Athletics staff, the city and the community. Rountree, who has been the Deputy Athletics Director at Miami of Ohio, was officially named PSU's new AD on Jan. 2. The release on his hire can be found here.

Following the press conference Rountree met dozens of student athletes, members of the PSU community, athletics department staffers and spoke to the men's basketball team. For the complete press conference, click on the video link above.
