FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Portland State senior Joenisha Vinson, until Wednesday, had never competed at a PSU home track meet, and she took full advantage of her first opportunity as she ended the first day of the Big Sky outdoor track and field event in first place of the heptathlon, in Forest Grove, Ore. Vinson didn't finish lower than third-place in any of the four events she competed in, taking first place in both the high jump and shot put events.
