Monday, August 27 - Viking Defense

The Portland State football video preview is out with a breakdown from Tom Hewitt and Mike Lund. The Vikings open their season on Sept. 1, hosting Carroll College at JELD-WEN Field in a 5 p.m. game.

The game will be televised on Comcast SportsNet Northwest with Bob Akamian and Mouse Davis on the call. The radio broadcast airs on Freedom 970 AM with Tom Hewitt and Mike Lund. The pregame show begins at 4 p.m.

VIKING FOOTBALL ON TELEVISION IN 2012
Portland State Football will be televised a record nine times in the Portland area during the 2012 season. Comcast SportsNet will air six of those games, with four originating from JELD-WEN Field and two others being picked up from opponent feeds on the road.

Portland State's televised home games will feature legendary Viking Coach Mouse Davis on the call. Bob Akamian will handle play-by-play duties once again with Davis joining him in the booth as the analyst.
