OGDEN, Utah – Four Portland State players scored in double-figures and 
Keaton McFadden pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds as the Vikings won their second straight Big Sky Conference road game with a 66-56 victory at Weber State on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings built a double-digit lead late in the opening half and led for much of the game to improve to 10-5, 2-1 Big Sky. The Wildcats dropped to 2-14, 0-3 Big Sky.
Weber State scored the first four points of the game and led for the first three minutes, but a jumper by 
Karley Lampman at the 16:32 mark gave Portland State its first lead, 9-8. Ninety seconds later, the Wildcats were back up, 12-11, after a Justine Johnson fastbreak layin, before back-to-back old fashioned three-point plays from 
Kate Lanz and Lampman put PSU in front for good.
Lampman scored 12 first-half points, connecting on five of seven shots, 
Eryn Jones had 10 and Lanz nine as the Vikings took a 37-24 advantage into the break.
Except for the first two minutes of the second period, Portland State led by double-digits the rest of the way. Up 39-30 with 18:17 left in the game, the Vikings scored six-straight points on layins by Lanz and 
Courtney VanBrocklin, and another Lampman jumper.
Lanz led all scorers with 21 points. She saw her double-double streak come to an end at five after finishing with nine rebounds.
Lampman added 18 points on 8 of 12 shooting, Jones tallied 11, and VanBrocklin had 10 points and four steals.
Mikell Woodfield paced Weber State with 17 points and nine boards.
PSU returns to the court on Thursday, hosting Northern Colorado at 7 p.m.
NOTES: Jones moved up to 12th all-time at PSU in scoring with 1,164 points ... the Vikings are 7-2 against Weber State under 
Sherri Murrell. Five of those wins have come by double-digits ... PSU shot 45.5 percent while holding the Wildcats to a 37.5 percent mark ... McFadden registered the first double-digit rebounding performance of her career ... PSU's starters accounted for 64 of the team's 66 points ... Lanz has scored at least 20 points in three-straight games.
