Lauren Prott

Lauren Prott joined the Vikings’ women’s soccer program in August 2024 as a video and data analyst before being promoted to assistant coach in June 2025.

Before arriving at Portland State, Lauren served as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Pacific University (2023–24) in Forest Grove, Ore. Additionally, she remains actively involved with Westside Metro FC, where she has spent over four years in various roles, including coaching, Academy Coordinator, and Assistant Girls Academy League Director. Lauren expanded her coaching background at Southridge High School, where she served as head coach of the JV girls’ team and assistant coach for the varsity squad (2022-25). Her coaching résumé includes international experience as well, having worked with club teams, professional academies, and futsal programs in Australia, Norway, and Sweden.

While abroad, Lauren also competed on the field, playing professionally in Australia, Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and Albania. Her playing career continued after relocating to the Pacific Northwest, where she joined Westside Metro’s WPSL team. A standout defender and team captain, she was named to the WPSL Northwest Region Best XI three times.

Lauren played collegiate soccer at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Butte College, and the University of Mount Olive before graduating from Mount Olive in 2015.
