Jonas Ankrum joined the Portland State volleyball program as a volunteer assistant ahead of the 2026 fall season.

A Portland native, Ankrum played for Parkrose High School where he was a two-time all-state honorable mention as a middle and outside hitter. Ankrum helped lead his Parkrose team to the state tournament in 2025.

Ankrum coached previously at Nike and Oregon Premier Volleyball camps where he supported drills, skill instruction and player development.
