Delaney Jamison

Delaney Jamison has been named the Associate Athletic Trainer at Portland State University, continuing her impactful work with the Vikings’ athletic programs beginning Fall 2024. 

Jamison is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2019. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training at Georgia Southern University in 2021, conducting research on athlete motivation during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Jamison began her professional career as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Georgia Southern University Track and Field and Cross Country. In 2021, Jamison joined Washington State University as an Intern Athletic Trainer for the Spirit Squads and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2023. Jamison transitioned to Portland State University in 2024, working as the primary Athletic Trainer for Women’s Volleyball and Softball.

Delaney is passionate about treating the “whole athlete”—physically and mentally—and fostering a culture of inclusion and trust in athletic training. Her leadership, innovation, and commitment to student-athlete well-being make her a vital part of the PSU Sports Medicine team.
