Became one of the top linebackers in the Big Sky Conference... has great speed to the ball and toughness... will anchor the defense and be a leader in 2025.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2024
Came on strong as a starting linebacker in his second season... led the team with 93 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss... had four 10-tackle games... led the team in tackles in five games... named second team All-Big Sky Conference... had 13 tackles with two for losses at Weber State (9/7)... made 10 tackles at Chattanooga (9/28) with one for a loss... had 13 tackles, including a sack against top-10 Idaho (11/9)... 10 tackles with one for a loss at Montana (11/16)... earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2023
Had a strong freshman season, playing in all 11 games... did not start, but saw significant time at linebacker and on special teams... opened the season with six tackles at Oregon (9/2)... had four stops, including one for a loss in the win over Cal Poly (9/23)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football three times and basketball twice at Sumner High School… a first team All-League running back as a senior… also team captain… All-Area Linebacker and League MVP as a junior… an Honor Roll student for three years.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Barry and Alex Wing… has one sister, Kylie… majoring in Business Management: Management and Leadership… hobbies are lifting weights, outdoor activities, skiing and surfing… also involved in community service, assisting with the local Food Bank.
