Came into the program as a linebacker, but has moved to defensive end due to take advantage of his rush abilities... very athletic with good size... part of a youthful line with lots of competition to play... named to the President’s List.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2024

Moved up to a rush end role and competed in 10 games with three starts... had 14 tackles, including one tackle for loss and two pass breakups on the season... made a season-high six tackles, including one for loss at Chattanooga (9/28)... two tackles and a pass breakup in the win over Sacramento State (11/2)... a redshirt in 2023, but he played in three games, making two tackles.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered in football, wrestling and track and field at Green Valley High School… can play wide receiver, tight end or linebacker… a two-time All-Conference selection who earned All-State this past year… had 52 receptions for 741 yards and six touchdowns as a senior… on defense made 98 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, seven sacks and a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown… also a talented wrestler.

Son of Jerome and Nichole Richter… has one sister, Abby… currently considering majoring in Business… hobbies are hiking and watching movies… would like to play professionally and be a physical therapist.
