A talented and dynamic back who should see his role expand in 2024... will combine with Quincy Craig to give PSU one of the fastest backfields in the conference, if not country.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2023

A strong addition as an all-purpose back for the Vikings... played in all 11 games, starting two... ranked fourth on the team in rushing with 53 carries for 282 yards and a touchdown... served as the main kick returner with 17 returns for 373 yards (21.9)... had one kick return for a 99-yard touchdown against Cal Poly (9/23), setting the PSU record for longest return in school history (previous 98)... also had a 60-yard punt return for touchdown in the win over North American (9/16)... had nine carries for 76 yards in the win at Northern Arizona (10/14)... rushed nine times for a season-high 81 yards in the win at Northern Colorado (11/18).

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Attended UCLA 2019-22... had a redshirt year and a COVID-waiver season... played in four games in 2022 as a backup running back and on special teams... had eight rushes for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Attended Notre Dame High School where was a three-star prospect according to 247Sports... as a senior, he ran 171 times for 1,306 yards and 18 touchdowns... scored six TDs in one game, tying the school record... also caught 11 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns... returned 13 kickoffs for 403 yards (31.0 avg) and a couple of touchdowns... as a junior, ran 69 times for 644 yards and seven touchdowns... also lettered in track where he won the CIF Div. 3 100 meters (10.40), 200 meters (20.93) and triple jump events...  finished second in the 100m (10.53) and third in the 200m (21.11) at the 2019 CIF State Track and Field Meet... ran first in the Arcadia Invitational 100 meter event (10.40) and third in the 200 meters (20.07).

Son of Victoria O’seni and Carl Grubb… has three brothers and two sisters… has already earned a Psychology degree from UCLA... working on his MBA at Portland State.
