Brad Striklin begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Portland State women’s basketball program, his fourth overall.

Stricklin served as the Vikings’ team manager for two seasons before being elevated to the position of assistant coach in the spring of 2012. He will assist in recruiting as well as help coordinate team travel and other administrative duties.

Before coming to the Park Blocks, Stricklin spent the 2009-10 season as the assistant coach at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore. where he served as the conditioning coach and post position coach. He helped Umpqua to a 21-8 record.

A native of Roseburg, Stricklin graduated from Portland State in 2012 with a B.S. in Community Health.
