Competed in the 5k at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (5/14-15), finishing 28th in a time of 15:44.10...Ran the 5k at the OSU High Performance Meet (4/30-5/1), finishing in 15:03.09...Shaved four seconds off his 1,500-meter personal best while also moving up to fourth all-time in the freshman rankings in the event with a time of 3:57.89 at the Lewis & Clark Invite (4/17)...Moved up to fourth all-time in the freshman rankings within the 5,000 meters while finishing in 14:57.01 at the NW Distance Jamboree (4/3)...Ran the 8th-fastest time by a Viking freshman (since 2003) while shaving seven seconds off his 1,500-meter personal best with a time of 4:01.26 at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Classic (3/20).
