2024 OUTDOOR:
Doubled in the 100 meters and triple jump at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (5/10-11), placing 25th in the prelims of the 100 meters (11.55 seconds) and 12th in the triple jump (43-02.50, 13.17m)...Competed in his first triple jump at the Pacific Open (3/30), jumping 45-02.25 (13.77m)...Made his outdoor debut at the Electric Forest Collegiate Open (3/16), running the 100 meters in 11.41 seconds.
2024 INDOOR:
Ran his first 200-meter race as a Viking at the Portalnd Indoor Three (2/18), finishing in 24.18 seconds...Ran the 60 meters in 7.43 seconds at the George Fox Indoor Meet #1 (2/3)...Made his season debut at the UW Indoor Preview (1/13), running the 60 meters in 7.37 seconds.
2023 OUTDOOR:
Closed out his season at the Portland Distance Carnival (5/12-13), running the 100 meters in 11.24 seconds...Shaved close to half a second off his personal best in the 100 meters while finishing in 11.15 seconds at the OSU High Performance Meet (4/28-29)...Also ran a leg on the Vikings' 4x100m relay team that finished in 43.69 seconds at the OSU meet...Ran the 100 meters in 11.67 seconds at the Pacific Open (4/1)...Made his track debut at the L&C Spring Break Open (3/17-18), running the 100 meters in 11.59 seconds, while also running a leg of the Vikings' 4x100-meter relay team that placed secodn in 43.65 seconds.
2022 FOOTBALL:
Played in six games on specials teams and as a backup defensive back... had one tackle on the season.
2021 FOOTBALL:
Played in nine games, mainly on special teams and some downs at roverback... had one tackle... a strong spring in 2021 earned him the start at Montana... a redshirt in 2019... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference for 2020-21 despite not having a season due to COVID.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE:
Lettered three times in football and track and field, and once in wrestling... earned first team All-League and honorable mention All-State in football and track... member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Son of Nikki Griffin and Zekial Ware... has four brothers and five sisters... majoring in Sonic Arts and Music Production... does community service work with his church.
