Recorded his first top-10 finish while placing ninth overall at the Viking Rust Buster (9/7)...Moved up to third all time in the 6k with his finish in 18:56.0 at the Rust Buster...Finished in the Vikings' top five at every meet at which he competed...Finished in the top 100 of the NCAA West Regional (11/15) for the second straight season, placing 96th overall...Set an 8k seasonal best with a finish in 25:27.7 at the Charles Bowles Invitational (10/5).

2018 CROSS COUNTRY:

Led the Vikings with a 98th-place finish at the NCAA West Regional (11/9), the highest finish by a first-year Viking men's runner since Michael Devenport placed 64th overall in 2002...Finished the 10k in 31:33.3 at the NCAA West Regional, moving him up to third all time at the distance at Portland State...With teammate Drew Seidel (who placed 99th), became the first pair of freshmen men's runners to place in the top 100 of the NCAA West Regional together for the Vikings...Seidel and him became the first Viking teammates of any classification to place in the top 100 of the NCAA West Regional together since Michael Devenport and Blake Flanders in 2003...Led the Vikings with a 31st-place overall finish at the Big Sky Championships, the highest finish by a PSU freshman men's runner at the meet since Alex Cisneros placed 27th overall in 2014...With teammate Drew Seidel (who placed 32nd), became the first pair of Viking men's runners to place in the top 35 together at the Big Sky meet since 2002...Made his PSU debut late in the season, placing 61st overall as the Vikings' second runner at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational (10/13)...Set an 8k personal best with his finish in 24:51.8 at the Bronco Invite.
