2026 OUTDOOR:

Won the high jump with a clearance at 6-04.00 (1.93m) at the Willamette Invitational (3/28)...Also placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 44-04.25 (13.52m) at the Willamette Invite...Set personal bests in the high jump (6-04.75, 1.95m) and long jump (21-01.50, 6.44m) at the PNW Invite (3/20-21)...Set a collegiate best with a clearance at 6-02.75 (1.90m) in the high jump at the LCC Open (3/14).
 

2026 INDOOR:

Competed in the high jump, long jump and triple jump at the Big Sky Indoor Championships (2/27-28)...Set an overall best in the long jump at the Big Sky meet, placing 18th overall with a mark of 21-07.25 (6.58m)...Placed highest in the triple jump at the Big Sky meet, finishing 12th with a jump of 44-03.25 (13.49m)...Tied his indoor best in the high jump while clearing 6-00.75 (1.85m) at the GFU Indoor #2 (2/21)...Also bettered his indoor best in the long jump with a mark of 19-11.00 (6.07m) at the GFU meet...Made his season debut at the Husky Classic (2/13-14), setting personal best in the high jump (6-00.75, 1.85m) and triple jump (44-08.75, 13.63m).
 

2025 OUTDOOR:

Placed 12th in the triple jump at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (5/16-17) while setting a personal best with his jump of 45-05.00 (13.84m)...Also competed in the high jump at the conference meet, placing 13th with a clearance at 6-01.50 (1.87m)...Set a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 44-05.25 (13.54m) at the OSU High Performance Meet (5/2-3)...Also moved up one spot in the freshman rankings in the high jump with a seasonal best of 6-02.00 (1.88m) at the OSU meet...Jumped up to fourth in the freshman rankings in the triple jump with a new seasonal best of 44-01.50 (13.45m) at the L&C Larry Byerly Invitational (4/18-19)...Moved up to fifth in the freshman record book in the triple jump with a new PSU best of 43-07.00 (13.28m)...Also bettered his seasonal best in the long jump to 19-10.25 (6.05m) at the John Knight Twilight...Improved his PSU best in the high jump with a clearance at 6-00.75 (1.85m) at the Oregon Preview (3/21-22)...Tied for the win in the high jump at the L&C Electric Forest Opener (3/8), clearing 5-09.75 (1.77m)...Set the No. 6 and No. 9 (tied) freshman marks in the triple jump (42-11.75, 13.10m) and high jump (5-09.75, 1.77m).
 

2025 INDOOR:

Cleared 5-10.50 (1.79m) at the UW Invitational (1/31-2/1) to set a new indoor best in the event...Added five inches to his indoor best in the triple jump with a mark of 41-07.00 (12.67m) at the UW Preview (1/17)...Made his Viking debut at the Spokane Invitational (12/14), competing in the high jump (5-08.75, 1.75m), long jump (18-08.50, 5.70m) and triple jump (41-01.75, 12.54m).
 

PARKROSE HIGH SCHOOL:

Finished in the top eight at the 5A OSAA State Championships in both the high jump (5th) and triple jump (8th) as a senior…Won a 5A Northwest Conference title in the triple jump as a senior, while placing second in the high jump…Qualified for the 2023 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships in the high jump and long jump…Qualified for the USATF Regional Junior Olympic Championships in the high jump (2023, 2024), long jump (2023) and triple jump (2023, 2024)…Lettered in basketball (three years) and volleyball (one year) in addition to track & field in high school…Captained his volleyball and track & field teams…Competed for the Inner Circle Track Club.
 

PERSONAL/MISCELLANEOUS:

Son of Sita and Sean Mathers…Has two sisters, Tori Troen and Natalie Mathers…Sister, Natalie, plays club volleyball at the University of Oregon…Part of three straight top five finishes in state with his high school’s wind ensemble…Lists basketball, video games, hanging out with friends, going camping, and swimming in rivers and lakes as hobbies/interests…Hopes to become a mechanical engineer for his career…Plans on majoring in mechanical engineering.
