2026 OUTDOOR:

Ran his first 400 meters at the Willamette Invitational (3/28), finishing in 51.42 seconds...Also ran the second leg of the Vikings' fastest 4x100 relay since 2016 that finished in 41.44 seconds at the Willamette Invite...Broke or tied a pair of freshman records in the 100 (10.78) and 200 (21.46) meters while making his outdoor debut at the PNW Invite (3/20-21).
 

2026 INDOOR:

Moved up to third all-time in the 200 meters while finishing in 21.72 seconds in the prelims at the Big Sky Indoor Championships (2/27-28)...Also tied his personal best in the 60 meters with a finish in 6.93 seconds at the Big Sky meet...Ran a leg of the Vikings' 4x400-meter relay at the Big Sky meet...Cracked seven seconds for the first time since the season opener -- and first time at sea level -- with a finish in 6.95 seconds at the GFU Indoor #2 (2/21)...Posted two wins at the Husky Classic (2/13-14), winning the 200 meters in a personal best of 21.89 seconds, then running a leg on the Vikings' winning 4x400-meter relay team that finished in 3:24.18...Broke the school record in the 300 meters with his finish in 34.94 seconds at the Inland Northwest Invitational (1/31)...Also ran the second leg of the Vikings' 4x400-meter relay that posted the program's best time since 2017 with a finish in 3:21.71 at the Inland Northwest Invite...Moved up to sixth all-time in the 60 meters at the Silver & Blue Invitational (1/9-10), finishing in 6.93 seconds...Also set a top 10 mark in the 200 meters at the Silver & Blue Invite, finishing in 21.95 seconds to move up to fifth all-time.

GSHL Athlete of the Year as a senior…GSHL first-team honoree in the 100, 200 and long jump as a junior and senior…Eared three letters in football in addition to track & field…All-league selection as a defensive back for his football team.

Son of Emily Bottin and Aaron Macdonald…Has a brother, Tristan Souza, who plays football at the University at Buffalo…Lists snowboarding and outdoor activities in general as hobbies/interests…Plans on majoring in pre-law with a minor in political science.
