2023 OUTDOOR:

Set a new PSU best in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:14.12 at the Larry Byerly L&C Invite (4/14-15)...Ran his first 800-meter race as a Viking, finishing in 2:07.58 at the Pacific Open (4/1)...Ran the 1,500 meters in 4:32.43 at the L&C Spring Break Open (3/17-18).
 

2023 INDOOR:

Opened his season at the Portland Indoor Two (2/5), running the mile in 4:39.77.
 

2022 CROSS COUNTRY:

Placed 162nd overall out of 345 runners at the L&C Invite (10/15), finishing the 8k in 27:44.8...Finished 35th overall at the Viking Rust Buster (9/2), crossing the line in the men's 6k in a time of 21:05.21.
 

2022 OUTDOOR:

Made his Portland State debut at the NW Distance Jamboree (4/2), finishing the 1,500 meters in 4:19.54.
 

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE:

Attended BYU and Arizona State before Portland State…Lettered in track and cross country for Byron P. Steele II High School, where he competed athletically while being homeschooled.

Son of Amy and Christian Carlson…Has four brothers, Ethan, Preston, Keenen and Jaron, and a sister, Lily…Can play as a jazz pianist…Wants to become a college cross country/track coach…Majoring in applied health & fitness.
