2024 SEASON (AS A FRESHMAN)

Appeared in 38 sets across 21 matches through the season...Averaged 1.00 digs and 0.13 aces per set...Recorded a season-high nine digs during the Vikings’ 3-2, comeback win at Montana State (11/14)...Served during a key run in the third set of the Vikings’ 3-1 win over Eastern Washington (10/31), including an ace...Set a career high with seven digs to go with an ace in the Vikings’ 3-0 sweep of Northern Arizona (10/12)...Recorded the first ace of her career during the Vikings’ match against No. 12 Oregon (9/18)...Finished with five digs and an assists in the Vikings’ first win of the season, a 3-1 victory over Butler (9/15)...Recorded five digs during the Vikings’ match against Tulane (9/5)...Made her Viking debut during the Vikings’ match against Cal (8/31).
 

PUNAHOU SCHOOL

Finished as runner up at the HHSAA state tournament with her team in 2021…Won an International League of Honolulu (ILH) title with her team in 2021.
 

CLUB

Played for nine years between the Na Keiki Mauloa club, Maunalani Volleyball Club, Spike and Serve Volleyball Club and Ku'ikahi Volleyball club…Placed third at the Transpac Championship with the Spike and Serve Volleyball Club during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons…Won the Transpac Championship with Spike and Serve during the 2019-20 season…Placed second at the AAU National Championship with Maunalani Volleyball Club during the 2017-18 season.
 

PERSONAL/MISCELLANEOUS

Daughter of Reid and Stephanie Shigemasa…Her mother, Stephanie, played volleyball for the University of Hawai'i…Has two sisters, Camryn and Cayman Shigemasa…Lists reading books, going to the beach, and teaching kids to play volleyball as hobbies/interests…Wants to become a pharmacist or pharmacologist after her volleyball career is over…Plans on majoring in biochemistry with minors in either biology or chemistry.
