Biography

      Will take on the primary offensive role inside for the Vikings... a big, strong back-to-the-basket presence who can score, rebound and defend... shoots a high percentage and is very tough to defend beacuse of his power.

    COACH GEVING SAYS: “Renado is a warrior inside. With his size and height, what he gets accomplished  in the paint is phenomenal. Down the stretch for us last year, he was really good. I think he is capable of giving us a double-double on a consistent basis.”
 
2011-12 • JUNIOR SEASON
    Because of transfer status did not become eligible until the end of fall term, missing the first seven games... played in 25, averaging 24.4 minutes per game... averaged 9.8 points to rank third on the team and 5.1 rebounds to rank second... shot .568 from the field and .639 at the line... also had 12 blocked shots... led the team in rebounding three times and scoring once... had 14 double-figure scoring games, one 20-point game and one double-double... scored in double figures in nine of his last 10 games... ranked second in field goal percentage in the Big Sky Conference, 27th in scoring and 14th in rebounding.... opened his season with 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-4 FT) and eight rebounds at Utah Valley (12/10)... scored 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-2 FT) with eight rebounds at Montana (12/28)... had 10 points and eight rebounds against Montana (1/29)... went for a season-high 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-7 FT) and five rebounds in a win over Sacramento State (2/23)... posted a double-double with 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-6 FT) and 14 rebounds in a win over Eastern Washington (2/25)... had a career-high 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 FT) in the season finale at Seattle (3/10)... BIG SKY TOURNAMENT: Tallied 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT) with nine rebounds in 26 minutes against Montana State... had six points and six rebounds in the semifinal against Weber State.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
    Led North Idaho JC to a combined 54-9 record in his two seasons, a 17-0 home record, and back-to-back Scenic West Athletic Conference titles - the school’s only two outright SWAC titles in men’s basketball... a teammate of current Viking Melvin Jones as a freshman... helped the team to a No. 6 final ranking among NJCAA schools in 2010 and a No. 14 ranking in 2009... earned 2009 NJCAA First-Team All-America and SWAC Most Valuable Player honors as a freshman after averaging 14.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and shooting .595 from the field... averaged 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and shot .521 from the floor in 2009-10 as a sophomore... was a two-time Region 18 All-Tournament team honoree and a two-time all-SWAC honoree... in his career at NIC, averaged 14.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 steals and shot .555 from the floor.
    Lettered four years in basketball at Kentridge (WA) High School… was named Washington 4A Player of the Year as a senior... earned first team All-Conference for three seasons and was conference MVP as a senior… led Kentridge to the state championship game in 2007 as a junior... averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds per game for his career and finished as his school’s all-time leading scorer... was rated the No. 1 power forward in the state of Washington by Northwesthoops.com.

    Son of Jerry and Martha Parker… born September 1, 1988… has three brothers, Jerry Jr. and Marcus and Rontrell… majoring in Health Studies… hobby are XBox, cooking and kicking it.
