2021-22 JUNIOR SEASON
Averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds... led team in scoring four times... had 17 double-figure scoring games... led the team in scoring with 18 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3-pt, 5-6 FT) in 18 minutes against Evergreen State (11/12)... had 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 FT) against George Fox (11/17)... went for 18 points (7-14 FG, 3-4 FT) at Iowa (11/26)... scored 10 points with a season-high nine rebounds and two steals in the win at Idaho State (12/2)... posted a season-high 26 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 3-pt, 4-4 FT) with five rebounds at CSUN (12/18)... had 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 3-pt) and three rebounds in 15 minutes of a win over Northern Colorado (1/31)... scored 20 points (7-12 FG, 3-3 3-pt, 3-3 FT) with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in a win at Northern Colorado (2/3)... posted 13 points (3-8 FG, 1-2 3-pt, 6-8 FT) with three rebounds and two steals in a win over Sacramento State (2/5)... led the team in scoring with 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-9 FT) in 22 minutes in a win at Idaho (3/3)... went for 15 points (7-15 FG, 1-5 3-pt), a career-high tying nine rebounds, two assists and two steals at Eastern Washington.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Played the past two seasons at Omaha in the Summit League… averaged 13.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 2020-21… started 11 of 16 games before his season was shortened by injury… still, earned honorable mention All-Summit League… averaged 15.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in league games… named Summit League Sixth Man of the Year in 2019-20… in 32 games off the bench he averaged 8.8 points and 3.3 rebounds… in two seasons shot .417 from the field, .371 from three-point range and .723 at the free throw line.
Spent one season at Highland Community College… averaged 13.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists while shooting .543 from the field, .472 from long range and .769 at the line… garnered second team All-NJCAA Region IV honors and All-Conference recognition… his team was 23-6, reaching the Region IV finals.
Lettered three times in basketball at Sun Prairie High School… as a senior he averaged 18.6 points… was a unanimous first team All-State selection by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association… honored as the Big 8 Conference Player of the Year and All-Area Player of the Year… his team won conference, regional and sectional championships on the way to its first state tournament appearance in history… as a junior, averaged 20.4 points and earned All-Conference honors… as won conference titles as a sophomore and junior… member of the school Honor Roll.

Son of Jerry and Marilyn Ruffin… has one brother, JT, and one sister, Christina… majoring in Business Administration… his father played basketball at Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
