Long and athletic player with a great future... should compete to start at defensive end this season... already a lot of experience entering his junior season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2024

Played in 10 games with starts against top-10 programs UC Davis and Idaho... had 16 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack on the season... made a career-high seven tackles, including a sack, against UC Davis (10/5)... had four stops in the game with Idaho (11/9)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2023

Played in 10 games with three starts as a true freshman... made 11 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup... made a season-high four tackles with a pass breakup in a win over Northern Colorado (11/18)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered in football and track at Bullard High School… a three-star recruit per 247 Sports…. first team All-CMAC defensive lineman… as a senior made 37 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery…. as a junior had 46 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a pass breakup and a fumble recovery… throws the shot put, discus and runs the 100 and 200 meters in track.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Son of Dominique Coley and John Van Eason… has one brother, Michael… majoring in Film… eager to get a college degree and would like to play professional football.
