PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played the past two seasons at Panola (TX) College... as a sophomore, he averaged 13.0 points per game to lead his team... shot .414 from three-point range with 3.6 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game... Panola reached the national junior college tournament and ended the year ranked 15th... as a freshman at Panola, he averaged 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals, shooting .414 from three-point range as well... Panola placed second in the Region 14 tournament... the program was 50-18 in his two seasons.

Attended South Shore High School in Brooklyn, averaging 14.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a senior... nominated for the McDonald's All-American game... played one year at a prep school, Florida Christian in Sebring, FL... averaged just under 20 points per game.
