Has experience, size and talent... needs to get healthy and back into the competition at linebacker.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2022
Competed in four games, missing much of the season due to injury... had one tackle.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2021
Played in two games and did not record any statistics... split time between linebacker and running back when the team suffered injuries in the offensive backfield... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference for 2020-21 despite not having a season due to COVID.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2019
Impressed as a true freshman... played in all 12 games, starting four, including his first at Arkansas... had 27 total tackles, one tackle for loss, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup... made a season-high five tackles at Idaho State (9/28)... followed up the next week with five tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a win over Southern Utah (10/5).
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered four times in football and three times in baseball at Roseburg High School… a two-time team MVP and two-time first team All-Conference linebacker… named second team All-State… also second team All-Conference as a running back… was named 2018 Defensive Player of the Year… named second team All-State at linebacker... a three-time first team All-Conference pitcher in baseball… named All-State twice… also two-time team MVP.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Mike and Elicia Mandera… has three sisters, Kristina, Brittany and Makylie, and one brother, Nate… majoring in Applied Health and Fitness hobbies are fishing, crabbing, camping and being outdoors… would like to be a college football coach.
