Biography

The Coaching Staff says: “Trevor has already thrown himself full speed into our program here. His size and athleticism are an asset for him and our program. We are excited for his future as a Viking.”

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Spent two seasons at Cal Poly, but did not play… a three-year starter and letterwinner at San Juan Hills... for his career, started 35 games and had 40 pancake blocks… named to the All-Sea View League first team and All-Orange County and All-CIF Southern Section as a senior season after helping the Stallions to an 11-2 record and a runner-up finish in the CIF Southern Section Division III playoffs… also a team captain… earned All-Sea View League second team as a junior… a scholar athlete honoree.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Brenda and Dan Newkirk… has two brothers, Sean and Nathan… majoring in Business… wants to start his own business after football… hobbies are being outdoors, the beach and video games.
