Lettered in football at Pleasant Valley High School… rushed 171 times for 1,521 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior… named league Most Valuable Player and a member of the NSCIF All-Section team… team won the section championship… had 285 carries for 2,339 yards and 35 TDs in his high school career… as a linebacker, had 71 career tackles and three takeaways... also competed in track and field.
