BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered in football three times and basketball and track twice each at South Salem High School... was a two-time All-League selection as both a wide receiver and a defensive back... had 45 receptions for 712 yards and nine touchdowns, 21 tackles and three interceptions, and a kick return touchdown during his senior season... as a junior had 78 catches for 1,040 yards and seven scores... had 2,455 all-purpose yards those two season with 20 total touchdowns.
