Rock Gullickson will work as a strength and conditioning coach for the Portland State Football program in 2026. He spent the past three years working with Head Coach Chris Fisk at Central Washington.

Gullickson was previously a strength and conditioning coach for the University of Tennessee football program. He has more than 40 years of experience in the field, including 17 years in the NFL working with the Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints. He was named the NFL Strength Coach of the Year in 2007.

Other collegiate credits include working at Moorhead State (1978), Mayville State (1979-80), South Dakota State (1981) Montana State (1982-89), Rutgers (1990-92), Texas (1993-97), Louisville (1998-99).

Gullickson is a graduate of Moorhead State where he competed in football, was a three-year starter on the offensive line, and earned NCAA III All-American honors.
