Can play either defensive tackle or defensive end... will compete to start again as a senior... experienced player who is strong and agile for his size... played only one season of high school football before coming to PSU.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2015
Competed mainly at defensive end and was a starter early in the season... mid-season injury slowed him somewhat... played in 11 games with six starts... had 16 tackles, three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a pass breakup... played a big role in the season-opening win at Washington State (9/5) with five tackles, a sack and a forced fumble... also had five tackles, a sack and a pass breakup in the win at Idaho State (9/12).

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2014
Started the season at defensive tackle, but moved over to end and really fluorished, coming on strong late in the year... played in 11 games, making four starts... had 28 tackles, five tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and forced a fumble... tied for the team lead in sacks... made eight tackles, 2.5 sacks and forced a fumble against Idaho State (11/1)... a career-high 10 tackles and a sack at Sacramento State.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2013
Played in 11 games as a backup defensive end... had 15 tackles on the season, two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks... a redshirt in 2012.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played football and basketball at Beaverton High School... earned third team All-Metro League honors as a defensive end.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Fa’aea Talalemotu and Tamara Hunter... has two sisters, Mirika and Tatiana... originally from Saipan, he lived with uncle, Ina, and aunt, Megan, in Beaverton so he could play football... Ina was a member of the 1987 and 1988 NCAA II national finalist teams at Portland State... plans to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice... hobbies are playing basketball and working out... named pronounced suh-VOLL-ee tuh-LAL-ee-MO-too
