COACH BARNUM SAYS: “Ryan is the second great player we have gotten out of Idaho in as many years between Kenton Bartlett last year and Ryan this year. He is one of the fiercest hitters I saw on tape all year. He will provide a lot of “oohs” and “ahhs”for the fans and also be a great fit in the locker room.”

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, basketball, golf and track at Eagle High School... Defensive Player of the Year and first team All-State in football... had 113 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four interceptions, six forced fumbles and 19 pass breakups... team MVP for football and golf as a senior... part of a golf team that won six straight state titles... earned All-Academic honors.
