2018 Honors
Academic All-Big Sky Conference
Should be back to full health from a knee injury last season... a key player on the defense from the free safety position... expected to be a leader in 2021... started at Montana in the spring, making four tackles and getting on pass breakup.
REDSHIRT SEASON • 2019
Began the season anchoring the back of the Viking defense... started the first three games, but missed the remainder of the season with a knee injury... had 13 tackles, a tackle for loss, forced fumble, pass breakup and an interception... made eight tackles and intercepted a pass against Boise State (9/21)... had five tackles, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble against Arkansas (8/31).
JUNIOR SEASON • 2018
Took over at free safety in game five and started the remainder of the season... made seven starts in all, playing in all 11 games... had 42 tackles to rank sixth in the team... also had an interception and a pass breakup... season-high eight tackles against Montana State (9/22)... made five tackles with an interception in the win over Sacramento State (10/27)... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Played two seasons at Butte College... was All-Conference and All-California Region I as a sophomore... had 53 tackles, six interceptions, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery... set school records for interceptions in a season (6) and a career (9).
Lettered three seasons in football at Harmony High School... as a senior was named first team All-Conference, second team All-Central Florida and third team All-State... named first team All-Conference as a junior... team captain.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Mike and Kim Lesch... has one brother, Tyler, and one sister, Brittany... majoring in Psychology... hobby is basketball... would like to become a coach.
