BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Competed two seasons at Western Kentucky... was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team in 2016... carried the ball 99 times for 542 yards (5.5 pc) and four touchdowns in 14 games... also had eight receptions for 43 yards... rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries at Miami (OH) in his first career start... had a season-high 104 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries at Marshall... as a sophomore, played in seven games, rushing 65 times for 233 yards (3.6 pc) and a touchdown... had nine receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Prepped at Ashland Paul Blazer High School... as a senior, he led all of KHSAA Class 4A in rushing and scoring with 1,976 yards and 26 touchdowns... averaged 165 yards per game which ranked fifth in the state across all classes... also had two interceptions on defense, returning one for a score... was one of nine finalists for Kentucky’s Mr. Football award... was the Kentucky MVP of the 2016 Border Bowl... was a three-star rated prospect by 247sports.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com... a two-time All-State selection by the Courier-Journal and All-State First Team selection by the Associated Press... rushed for 6,234 yards and scored 86 touchdowns for his career... also lettered in track, winning state titles in the 100 and 200 meters.
