Should be back to full health by the start of the 2021 season... experienced player with 25 games and 17 starts despite having injuries... can play both tackle and end... started at Montana, making three tackles, including one for loss.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2019
His season was cut short by injury... began year as the rush end, starting the first four games... made nine tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and a sack before going out with a leg injury.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2018
Moved into a full-time starting role at defensive end and played well... started all nine games he played... missed the last two with a leg injury... had 24 tackles to tie for eighth on the team... also had five tackles for loss, three sacks, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery... made a season-high five tackles, including one for loss at Idaho (9/29)... had three tackles, two for losses, including a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the win at 14th-ranked Montana (10/6)... four tackles, two for loss, a sack and pass breakup in the win over Northern Colorado (10/13)... selected as CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 and Academic All-Big Sky Conference.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017
Became a part of the rotation on the defensive line as a redshirt freshman... played in all 11 games with three starts... had 26 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery for the season... made six tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss against Montana (9/30)... had six tackles and a fumble recovery against Eastern Washington (11/18)... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference.... a redshirt in 2016.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, wrestling and basketball at Summit High School... a three-year letterwinner in football... was first team All-League and All-State offensive and defensive line... his team won the 2015 Oregon 5A state championship... made 86 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and nine sacks... a three-time state qualifier in wrestling... three-year starter in baseball.
