Very good athlete, quick and a good hitter... after earning some starts as a safety in 2012, moved up to outside linebacker in 2013... saw limited action due to injury in 2014... goes by the nickname Rocky.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2014
Played in five games... missed much of the season due to injury... saw time at linebacker and on special teams... had eight tackles and one pass breakup.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2013
Played in 10 games, missing two with injury... played both at linebacker and on special teams... had 18 tackles, four tackles for loss, a sack and two pass breakups... opened the season making a career-high seven tackles in the win over Eastern Oregon (8/29)... had four tackles and a sack in the win at UC Davis (9/21).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2012
Originally tabbed to redshirt, he was inserted into the starting lineup after some injuries early in the season... played in five games beginning with Northern Arizona (9/29) before missing the last two with injury... made four starts and totaled 16 tackles on the season... had one tackle for loss and two pass breakups...  had a season-high six tackles and a pass breakup in his first game at NAU... made five stops at Cal Poly (10/20).

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Was a first team All-State defensive back... also first team All-Metro League as a quarterback and defensive back... named the Metro co-Offensive Player of the Year... a Rivals.com 3-star recruit... threw for 590 yards and seven touchdowns, and ran for 809 yards and 10 touchdowns as a quarterback... also competed in track, swimming and basketball... earned first team All-State honors in the 4x100 meter relay as a sophomore.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Romaine and Michael Rothstein... has one brother, Ryan, and two sisters, Stephanie and Taylor... plans to major in Communications... hobbies are choir, piano, skiing and participating in Knights Catholic youth group... would like to get into sports broadcasting.
