A two-year starter who will become even more vital to the offense over the next two years... has size, speed and is a great route runner... approaching 100 career catches (97) with more than 1,000 yards (1,133) in just two seasons while starting 22 straight games... has caught at least one pass in every start.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2022
Once again started all 11 games for the Vikings... led the team with 47 receptions... ranked second in receiving yards with 517... also had three tackles on special teams and three kick returns for 40 yards... earned CSC Academic All-District honors and Academic All-Big Sky Conference... also named to the Dean’s List... made a season-high nine receptions for 56 against Weber State (10/15)... made five receptions for 76 yards against San Jose State (9/1)... combined for 11 catches for 139 yards in back-to-back wins over Northern Arizona (10/1) and Lincoln (10/8).
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021
Came on strong as a freshman, starting all 11 games... made 50 receptions for 616 yards and four touchdowns on the season... named to the Jerry Rice Award Watch List for national freshman of the year... finished 19th in the balloting... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference... caught five passes for 95 yards and a touchdown at Hawai’i (9/4)... had six receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown at Washington State (9/11)... recorded a season-high 106 yards on six catches against Western Oregon (9/18)... grabbed a season-best nine receptions for 83 yards in the win at Weber State... also competed in spring football... played in the spring game at Montana... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference for 2020-21 despite not having a season due to COVID.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football three times at Grace Brethren High School… was named first team All-League, first team All-County and Wide Receiver of the Year as a senior… his team was CIF Runner-up… caught 56 passes for 1,180 yards and 12 touchdowns… also made 108 tackles and four interceptions on defense… as a junior he earned first team All-League… caught 21 passes for 558 yards and five touchdowns… his team was CIF Champion and State Regional Champion.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Michael and Lisa Bennett… has a brother, Nolan, and two sisters, Lauren and Caitlin… majoring in Business Administration: Management and Leadership… hobbies are hanging out with friends and family, playing basketball and Call of Duty… would like to play in the NFL.
