Biography

A veteran on the defense... expected to bounce back and be more of a factor in 2022... can play linebacker and defensive tackle.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2021

Played in seven games at linebacker and defensive tackle... did not record a tackle.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2019

Competed in all 12 games, starting two - the wins over Idaho and Northern Colorado... played at whip linebacker and on special teams... had 17 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass breakup on the season... made a season-high six tackles in the win at Northern Colorado.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Played 2018 season at Humboldt State… had 82 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception and two pass breakups… was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and second team All-Conference… also won a GNAC Player of the Week honor after a win over Simon Fraser.

Attended Luther Burbank High School where he lettered in football… an All-Conference selection… member of the honor roll.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Son of Irene and Sivihiva Finau… has three brothers and three sisters… plans to major in pre-Physical Therapy… hobbies are rugby and track… hopes to play professional football.
